We absolutely guarantee that each antique piece we sell is authentic. Should a qualified cartological dealer or historian determine that any piece is not an authentic 19th Century antique (except those pieces in our new PastPresent Repro Gallery - which are noted as reproductions), please return it to us along with a written statement from the expert and we will gladly refund 100% of your purchase and shipping costs (we are absolutely confident this will never happen). If, within 30 days of receipt, you are unhappy with your purchase, we will gladly refund your purchase price (less shipping and handling charges) as long as the merchandise is returned to us in its original condition and matting.

An important note about international shipments (particularly those to Canada):
Due to incredibly high international shipping charges by UPS (and other carriers), we will attempt to ship all of our overseas orders via the United States Postal Service (USPS). Our biggest problem with USPS shipping is their size limitation. To most locations, packages can not exceed a total of 108 inches (length plus girth). That means that larger packages must go via UPS and shipping charges can be much higher than quoted.
You also need to be aware that our shipping charges do not include any customs fees, duties, taxes, or brokerage fees. These very greatly from location to location.
We have recently become aware of a problem related to Canadian shipments via UPSS. In addition to national, provincial, and local sales taxes, and customs duties, UPS also charges our customers and outrageously high customs brokerage fee of somewhere between about 5% and 15% of the value of the item ordered.
In an attempt to avoid these high fees, we will attempt to ship most packages to Canada via the postal services. This should help keep the brokerage fees down, but shipments may still be held for taxes and duties.
We apologize for any inconveniences caused by the complex and convoluted process of shipping packages overseas.

Each piece receives individual care and is matted and packaged by hand after you order it. It takes an average of 1 to 3 business days to ship most matted orders. Custom framing adds about 1 week before we can ship your order. That means that even a Next Day Air order is not likely to arrive the day after you order it (please call us if you need something that fast and we will try to help).
International shipping times are extremely unpredictable! We have had pieces take from 2 days to 3 months to arrive overseas. Delays are usually due to local customs officials.
Our on-line gift certificates will be delivered via e-mail with 24 hours.

Currently UPS Ground shipping and handling, on all (except OVERSIZE) orders in the 48 contiguous United States starts at just $8 for the first $150 . Faster delivery methods are available for an extra charge.

Due to the INCREDIBLY high shipping prices charged for OVERSIZE shipping, shipping charges may be higher than quoted for items that measure more than a total of 70" (matted height + width). For example a matted piece measuring 32" x 40" would be considered OVERSIZE.
